Fête fédérale de gymnastique 2025

77th Federal Gymnastics Festival

The Federal Gymnastics Festival (Fête Fédérale de Gymnastique) takes place every six years and brings together gymnasts from all over Switzerland. In June 2025, Lausanne hosted the 77th edition — the first time the Canton of Vaud had welcomed this major event since 1951. The festival in numbers: 65,000 gymnasts, 2,000 performances, and over 300,000 visitors spread across the city.

Brief & Challenge

Promote and capture this extraordinary event — ten unforgettable days taking place across 48 different venues throughout Lausanne. The challenge was immense:

  • Assemble and manage a 20+ person crew including freelancers and volunteers
  • Deliver a daily highlights video every evening by 6 PM
  • Produce two official aftermovies
  • Handle social media content creation
  • Provide raw footage to media partners
  • Coordinate with the photo and social media teams
  • Be fully operational from 7 AM to 10 PM, every day

Our Approach

Surrounding ourselves with the right people was key. We relied on our network of trusted specialists and built a strong, flexible production team. Months of preparation went into fine-tuning every detail — from logistics and equipment to workflow and communication.
We tested our setup in real conditions at other major events to make sure everything would run smoothly once the festival began.
When the ten days finally came, we gave everything — drawing on 15 years of experience to meet the challenge with precision, creativity, and endurance.

Result

The outcome exceeded expectations. Dozens of videos were produced daily, generating 5.5 million views on Instagram during the festival. A consistent, high production quality was maintained through ten days of intense activity. Our images captured and conveyed the vibrant energy and joyful spirit of this once-in-a-lifetime celebration. An outstanding team delivered beyond measure.
Bravo to everyone involved.

Gymagine Show

In January 2025, the organizing committee of Gymagine — the grand show of the Federal Gymnastics Festival — reached out with an inspiring challenge: to create the visual worlds that would bring its 17 performances to life on the massive Vidéotron screens of the Vaudoise Arena. “Gymagine” was the highlight of the entire festival — a breathtaking spectacle combining gymnastics, music, and audiovisual artistry.

Our mission at Krew was to design and produce the audiovisual environments for each of the 17 thematic acts, from tropical forest to gold, storm, night, fire, volcano, and deep sea. A vast and creative playground — and a true artistic direction project. On June 20th, as 10,000 spectators watched the first live performance, we witnessed our work come to life. An unforgettable moment and a powerful emotional reward.
